Worst product I have ever bought

 

Don't whatever you do buy a Grundig product - I have had four PVRs and each time they lasted about a year before they started to freeze whilst watching or recording. In fact it happens almost immediately but only gets to the untenable stage after about...

It is the most unreliable electroni devie I have ever bought.

as one reviewer stated, Grundig was a respected brand once - probably just another "made in china" product now - a good entry-level unit

a good entry-level unit - well-priced

not hd on my remote the OK button is almost "cactus" - needs very hard press to activate it, and it controls many functions can't control most functions from unit poor manual - they're not alone these days!

Terrible

 

If you want a digital channel recorder don't buy this as you'll be stuck with a standard definition digital set top box you have to control from the box with no recording capability shortly after the warranty runs out. Am searching for a universal...

Picks up the digital channels in the area well. Was fairly cheap at the time for a twin tuner ~$250. Was able to record a channel while watching another(Refer to Cons)

Remote died shortly after warranty ended, can't control from the base unit and will cost $78 to replace. Clunky menu/recording setup. very limited EPG.

Terrible

 

Disappointed with this unit as I purchased it specifically for recording two shows at the same time. If advertises TWIN TUNER on the box but this does not extend to the record function. No mention of its recording capabilities is mentioned on the box....

Cheap. Time shift.

Not a true twin tuner recorder - 1.5. You can record on one tuner and view TV on the other. Recording two shows at the same time is not possible.
