The LG Galaxy Attain is a fine midrange smartphone for MetroPCS users, but it could easily have been a better one.
Comfortable to hold and use. Excellent multimedia file support. Inexpensive monthly plans.
Mediocre call quality. Lower-end display.
Apps, Multimedia, Camera and Conclusions The Galaxy Attain runs Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread). There's no word yet on an update to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Samsung has made some modifications to the UI with its TouchWiz overlay. There are seven...

The Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G, which debuted at CES 2012, is a contract-free smartphone that runs on MetroPCS's 4G LTE network. At $250 without a contract (as of January 30, 2012), the Attain is one of the most budget-friendly LTE phones currently...
LTE without a contract ; Camera performs well outdoors
Specs can feel a bit outdated ; Lots of bloatware
The Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G suffers from too much bloatware and dated specs, but it's still one of the best phones in MetroPCS's lineup.
Avis d'expert par : Jessica Dolcourt (cnet.com)
MetroPCS may be the nation's fifth-largest carrier, but it plays in its own league. That's a fact I can appreciate when comparing its no-contract, 4G LTE phones to those on Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint (T-Mobile has 4G, but not yet the LTE standard.) The...
The Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G is an eye-catching Android 2.3 device that runs on MetroPCS' 4G LTE network. The camera took admirable outdoor shots, and the smartphone won't break the bank.
Unfortunately, the network isn't always the fastest or most reliable. Call quality was a mixed bag.
Samsung's middle-of-the-road Galaxy Attain 4G has a nice price and attractive design for MetroPCS customers; but those seeking true LTE speeds should choose a different carrier.
Avis d'expert par : Armando Rodriguez (techadvisor.co.uk)
The Attain has a 3.5-inch, 320-by-480-pixel QVGA display, a change of pace from most of the 4-inch and larger phones out there. In my tests the screen did a decent job of displaying colors, though some of the app icons and other graphics appeared...
The Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G suffers from too much bloatware and dated specs, but it's still one of the best phones in MetroPCS's lineup.

Samsung brings a mid-range Galaxy-class device to MetroPCS's network in the Attain 4G. This simpler smartphone packs some surprises, along with some disappointments.

I bought this phone last week. So far, no major issues with the phone itself. The battery life is pretty decent with average use. I don't always get great Metro service everywhere I go, but when I'm at home, I get pretty good service. Metro customer...
fast, sleek, decent battery life, no lag
camera kinda sucks and the keyboard is cramped

Best phone. My advise for customers in NY.
1. I know - just $50 per all services , 4G Internet include. 2. Perfect Internet speed. 3. Small enough for my packets.
1.low buttery life. But I bought extra battery.

Bluetooth does not seem to be AVRCP 1.3+ compatable. At least it's stock music player does not transmit such data as track title and artist when playing over Blueooth to a head unit capable of displaying metadata(most current android phones as well as...
Forward and rear facing camera with camera button on side, flash, works on 4G network, able to use it on Metro PCS unlimited plan.
Stock Music Player usless when playing from playlist(huge lag/freezing). Phone doesn't send musics ID3 tag info over bluetooth. Camera doesn't have zoom(Even by software). Has huge lag when connected with bluetooth rendering phone almost useless.

Cute little phone, good processor speed
Awfull! Battery will not last more than 2 hrs, even though the phone is not being used! I purchased it 1 week ago and guess what? I'm returning it as soon as the MetroPCS store opens Monday.
