Great Phon

 

I don't know about the other guys but my phone rings louder then my last and if you can "read" the phone is very simple to use. Took about 15secs to change the ring tone. Unlike the other guy I think the bright screen is great. I would recommend this...

DECT Phone for ~$40 on sale Works in my Wireless N Network area, Great Range ~400+ feet (About the same as my Wireless N). Unlike the other reviewer you can hear the caller as well as they can hear you

Received this phone at no cost from my cable company when I signed up for their "Digital Phone" service. Decided to give a 1.9 GHz phone a try, even though I was happy with my existing 5.8 GHz phone. After 2 frustrating days of use, back it goes.

Cheap. Voice mail indicator light

Volume of ringer, even when on highest setting, is barely audible unless the ambient noise is extremely low. Had trouble hearing it ring while watching TV; forget about when listening to music. Same with ear-piece or speaker. Not intuitive to use, at...

Works Great

 

unlike the previous negative review. I've found the voice quality both in and out to be fantastic. Maybe the previous reviewer received a defective unit? I don't care about specialized ringing, so programming anomolies don't affect me.

Clear reception, lots of features, incredible newegg price. (Clearance) I would recommend purchasing this unit. Kudos to newegg - standard free shipping arrived less than 24 hours from placing the order - WOW

About the programming, it has a VIP ring feature which means it will ring a different selected melody if that number comes up on the the caller ID. The problem is, you have to wait for that person to call, save that CID data into memory and then assign...

Um, clear reception I guess

First of all, with the unbelievable bright back light, it makes the text on the screen hard to see. And there's no way to turn it off. Second, most of time the people on the other end can't hear you very well. And third, it's very difficult to program...

I bought this phone mainly because it was cheap (69.99 plus tax) at Best Buy. I brought it home with the not unrealistic expectation that it should be able to do function correctly and work like it says on the box...you know, caller id, voice mail ...

price--I paid 69.00 plus tax

basic functions beyond simple phone calls do not work
