Keyboard is definitely defective

 

I'm going to disassemble one of the spacebars to see if I can determine where the fault is. I am not waiting 3+ days for Newegg to test and send out a new unit. Maybe I will update with a higher Egg rating.

Nice large size ; Core i3 Process

Keyboard is definitely a cause for concern. Need to press down on the center of it. Don't listen to the ASUS trolls that tell you it's an isolated case. Bought 3 of these, every single one of them are same issue

I like this computer a lot, after some updates and testing the video games I usually play, this laptop ran perfectly. But its true that the space bar is defective. You must press it in the center and with a certain amount of pressure.

Gaming ability, this is the main reason I bought this laptop. The graphics are really nice compared to what I had before

Don't think spacebar key issue can be work-around by firmware. This is more like mechanical issue.

Returned for spacebar key defected. It is useless just like other people reviewed it here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231073 ; Also, keyboard material made so cheap. NOT recommend to buy

Great Value

 

Super cheap ($350 on special) ; Good processor for the price ; Light weight with large display ; Very thin

Sluggish if running a lot in the background ; Windows 8 is terrible (installed Ubuntu as dual-boot) ; Battery life is not great (about 4 hours) ; Not easy to replace battery or upgrade memory

No optical drive. Not a big deal in this day and age, but it seems like something that should just be standard on a (full-sized) laptop. No gripes, but something worth noting for someone that didn't think to look before buying. No watching DVDs or...

See the specs versus price. Compared to other options out there, this was a fantastic deal at the time of purchase. Overall build quality seems solid when compared to some of the bargain/cheaply-made laptops out there

Well Worth the Price

 

Works great so far. Win8 works well just bypass the Metro screen & go straight to desktop. I'm not a gamer but I don't think this would work well in that role, but for everyday productivity it's been great. Office, web browsing, email, video playback...

Great Value. Plenty fast for non-gaming use, thin & lightweight. ASUS quality

Worst thing I've ever purchased

 

No pros. Very upset with this product. Any pro would be unnoticeable to me

If there was minus 10 eggs - I would give it to this product and the newegg technician who apparently had no clue about this laptop. What happened was I bought this laptop and was not sure about the memory. So, I did additional research and saw this...
