Had issues RMAing but things worked out even though one rep said I would get refund on my credit card, but got instore credit which is rare.

Price and it was HD

Low light issues, Night and day recordings the camera gave the video a red filtered look. No matter what I did to the settings I couldnt get rid of it. My son who is smarter than me at these things even tried, and JVC customer service was no help ; We...

Worth the money, but cumbersome software.

 

Image stabilization is almost nonexistent. It's imperative that you get a tripod or at least monopod to video anything above two or three power without shaking so bad the image becomes just a blur.

The camera does what it says as advertised. If you record directly from the cam to a dvd/vhs, no problem, good image for a $buck-fifty. It takes a decent quality image with an average evening indoor 100 watt light, but don't pan more than "slowly" or...

My purpose of documenting the build of an airplane requires editing on the computer. To do any editing first you must spend $15 for JVC's "Element 5" software in order to get the MTS files from the camera to the computer ; JVC software is so basic that...

advise to use a class 10 sd card i used a class 4 i had videos came out grainy and choppy class 10 cleared everything up

DO NOT BUY the combo package with the CU-VD 40US dvd burner. It is useless with this camcorder. This camcorder does not connect to the burner.

Great camcorder for the price (refurbished)! Good movie quality. Excellent 20x optical zoom. Good low-light performance with normal room lighting at night. I like the laser-touch controls. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase
