Avis d'expert par : PC Magazine (pcmag.com)
Simplicity is at the heart of the Dimâge 2300. It's a small, lightweight, relatively inexpensive device with few frills. There are few manual controls, no video or panorama modes, and not even an optical zoom lens. The on/off switch doubles as the lens...
Avis d'expert par (pcworld.com)
This camera offers a high resolution of 2.3 megapixels, as well as a digital zoom lens, but it misses on color accuracy.
The Minolta Dimage 2300 is a solid choice if you are primarily looking for high resolution (useful for larger prints) at a relatively low price. Without an optical zoom, it should appeal to someone who needs basic business digital images.
Avis d'expert par (steves-digicams.com)
The Minolta Dimge 2300 features a high-resolution 2.3 million-pixel CCD with a RGB primary color filter to retain true color fidelity. Measuring just 4.48 x 2.55 x 1.57 inches and weighing only 7.4 ounces, it is very easy to carry wherever you go.

This camera is "worthless" to me now that I have Windows XP and have discovered that there is no new software updates to support it. Why would a "so-called" reputiable company such as Minolta dot this to its customers? My only conceivable answer would...
Overall picture quality is okay and it was fairly easy for a novice like me to download the images to my computer using Adobe PhotoShop software that accompanied my camera.
I found that switching to the different camera functions was very difficult & I was "constantly" having to refer my manual for instructions. I also found that the battery life was very poor & was quickly depleted in between uses and picture downloads.

This product is pure trash. this is a rip-off. I have hardly been able to use this camera for it's driver only operates on an ancient version of windows. Minolta should be ashamed for this crime. Don't buy any minolta product.
Poor, poor, poor
Bad quality pictures. Review on your computer is impossible without windows 89. Too expensive. It should be given free of charge with Mac Donald's happy meals.

Good camera but now have upgraded system and cannot find a driver or software to support XP. Camera is useless if you can't download pictures. This is why I give a 3 star rating, otherwise great accessory.
Quality pictures, multi media, easy to use
No driver or software updates to support new systems using XP.

Poor poor poor, Hard to use other than basic photos, eats batteries, no xp driver, picture quality is poor in low light, cheaper models produce better

No strength
Absolutly no driver for win XP

It just broke: won't focus on anything closer than 200 feet away. That is after taking over 2,000 photos. Average quality pictures, sharpened by having to push 8 buttons (keystrokes) each time one opens front shutter to change focus to what they call...
1/2 second strobe shots: up to 12 sequences in low res. Holds overall picture size of two choices, even in low rez: attains low rez by jpeg compression in steps they call 's.fine'[.tif], 'fine'[1:5 .jpg compression], 'std.' [1:10 .jpg c.], and 'econ.'...
Battery eater. No optical zoom. Half size pictures are half resolution. Slow starting: missed many nature shots. Full res. .tif picture takes full minute before can take next shot.
Avis d'utilisateur (photographyreview.com)
The camera itself is fairly mediocre. The picture quality is not bad, definitely better than many cheap models, but it is next to impossible to use any of the camera's features. It has no zoom, and very little control over how your pictures come out....
Good picture quality.
Everything else. Its actually completely useless to me now.
