Dont buy this, i tried my friend's Acomdata E5 1394 and usb and it ran rings around this...

Well i had this for over a year now and after the 1st week i started to get a bad feeling 1394 and usb r/w were very slow and later files began to get corrupted and all kinds of strange problems
