So much promise...but that's it.

 

There was no sound at any time while I was trying to get this set to work, so I can't say how it is. With how small the speaker mounts looked, I wouldn't expect much. External audio will likely be needed unless you're sitting next to it. Wish this set...

DOA. The set was shipped in the manufacturer packaging, which is fine and I expected. What's sad is that the packing apparently wasn't enough, nor properly used. The box had a few knicks and dings, but nothing to indicate it had been heaved off the top...

Using as office montiors .......

 

I guess I would say though, for home use, the screen picture may seem a bit bright. But come on, this isn't a high end brand 32 inch with crystal clear sharpness. You want that, obviously one needs to dig a little deeper in the ol' wallet or pocketbook...

With a 32' at this price, I bought one to use as an office monitor. The unit comes with all the ports one could want, save DirectTV caps which obviously we don't need in the office. lloll. The picture is solid. I would say it is acceptable for home...

Not a con: Have bought numerous TVs from "The Egg." Not too many came in a secretly wrapped box, they all come in a TV bound box with an address label. Not sure if much more can be expected than that. ;)

For any readers/past reviewers out there, the UpStarUSA site says the code for the DirecTV remote is 11758; for Dish Network try 502, 627, 505, or 773. Other codes at http://www.upstarusa.com/FAQ.html
