Burning Smell - Broken after 4 years

 

Purchased the GE TV new at Best Buy for $1000 brand new in December of 2004. Now 4 and a quarter years later it has stopped working. Shuts itself off if you try to turn it on. The screen is completely black , no picture whatsoever, even for a minute. ...

Smoked, but did not burn the house down.

Is broken after 4 years. Now junk.

Great price, decent picture, works in lighted areas, big HD monitor.

Poor sound, one component input and component is only HD input.

Terrible TV

 

Beautiful picture until it decides that you are beyond the 30 day return period.

It is a piece of junk and it is just plain cheap!
