This is a great phone, I don't know why people think that a rechargeable battery takes 30 minutes to charge. it takes at least 12 hours for the first charge, after that you're good to . just make sure when you plug the batteries that you match the plug...

This is the best phone ever hands down!

One phone took over 14 hrs for the enitial charge.... the other one wouldn't even charge up, even after switching batteries. The "charged" one wouldn't work in the one that didn't charge. I think there was something wrong with that handset to begin...
