Awesome

Overall great purchase and would buy another one if I needed it for anything.

I works great with every funtion I use it for with my computer. was even able to tuse the IR blaster to hook my satelite box up to Media Center so it could control my satelite box for me

One that i know of and that's that the button's are too small at times. I say that cause i'm visually impaired and do a lot of things by feel with the remote and sometimes cause they are so small I hit the wrong button when i'm not looking at it

Great product!

Great for anyone with Windows Media Center wanting to have a remote for it, or needs to control another device with the computer (Set Top Box).

Small, easy to setup. Plug and Play connection with USB 2.0

Only includes 1 IR cable, despite capability to control 2 devices. IR cable is rather short (10ft)

Can work in XP with edits

I understand that XP support is not specifically mentioned but you can get it to be recognized by adding to a most recent copy of irbus.inf [MicrosoftHw] %USB\VID_045E&PID_006D.DeviceDesc%=IrBus_V2, USB\VID_2304&PID_0225 [ControlFlags]...

This unit comes with everything (remote, receiver, battery, suction cup, ir blaster). It connects flawless on Vista, but I needed it for my XP 2005 MCE box and was able to get it to be recognized by editing irbus.inf

No reason why they could not have supported XP out of the box as it is just a typical beanbag remote

It's a remote...

I really don't get the complaints that it doesn't work in XP (it does if you know what you're doing). The product doesn't claim to work in XP. It says "Vista" right in the specs as a system requirement. And as for the remote being "cheap", have you...

It's a remote for MCE Vista. It does exactly what the title says it should: control MCE in Vista. No drivers or anything, you just plug it in

There aren't any

I would get something different nex time

Nice feel

Cable set top box didn't recognize. Spent several hours trying to get remote recognized by set top box, after about 5 attempts it finally did, but certainly not easy

Don't bother

Like most items from Pinnacle, I have regretted my purchases because of poor performance. When will I learn not to be suckered in by a cheap price or rebate? I waited 8 months for clearQAM in the hardware ready device I purchased and it only causes my...

Cheap price. Nice looking hardware. That's about it folks

Very poor support. I couldn't get this to work on Windows Vista or Windows XP MCE edition. Pinnacle's suggestion was to re-image my machine with a reinstall of Vista

horrible

Unless you are a fool with an extra 20 - 30 bucks to waste, and listen to your pc while you are falling asleep, this is not the remote for you. no software... Pinnacle is a bunch of capitalistic pigs... they are in bed with microsoft, and refuse to...

Absolute junk... (i wanted to put something else, but newegg highlights it as inappropriate word!!!) There are no pros, other then the thought of actually having a remote. That idea is blown away after actually using this remote

Where do I start... I used it on xp, i got a driver from the net and it worked in xp. The volume would stick when you press it up or down, so did the other buttons, they would just keep repeating as if you were holding down a key on the keyboard. Users...

worthless

i had a all in wonder remote the last time that was awsome. it just does not work with vista thats why i desided to change. that one would move the mouse and every thing. Windows is jus try to take over everything. What they should do is instead of try...

it is neat especially the recever

it only works properly in windows media center.it basically has no use outside media center not even in media player as it is only able to stop pause and start. I can't even adjust the volume inside media player. I really expected more for this price....

eh...

I bought this so my wife could control our Direct TV receiver from her HTPC, but it usually only successfully changes the channel about half the time. I've tried moving the IR sender, changing the IR transmit speed to fast, medium and slow. Medium...

Works about 50% of the time. Installed easily on Vista Ultimate
