Razer Lachesis (5600dpi)

Comfortable ambidextrous grip ; Buttons are well placed ; Customisable lights

Profile switcher button is on the bottom of the mouse

If you need an ambi mouse, the Lachesis should be on your list of rodents to check out.

Razer Lachesis 5600DPI Mouse Review

In the past, we have reviewed many of Razer's high end gamer peripherals. From the expert Ironclad mousepad to the FPS killer Imperator and MMORPG master Naga, all have left their marks that will be remembered by all. Today its the Lachesis's turn.

After 3 days of rigorous gaming and daily working with the Lachesis, I admit for once. This is something that comes out of the box as advertised. Bringer of silent death. Weight management doesn’t seem to be a requirement with this as it easily dances...

Razer Lachesis 5600DPI Gaming Mouse Review

The old pit viper is back, with an upgraded attack.

stylish, comfortable, ambidextorous, customizable LED lights

thumb buttons hard to press, ideal for longer fingers

The new Lachesis is a performer like most Razer mice are – it’s comfortable, provides optimum grip and gives precise control over my movements. However, if you already own a Lachesis, there is no reason to upgrade to the new one. The bigger DPI makes...

Razer Lachesis V2 5600 dpi Laser Gaming Mouse

Razer debuted the original Lachesis 4000 dpi gaming mouse back in 2007. For its day, the Lachesis was one of the most sensitive mice you could buy, although by today's standards that 4000 dpi mark isn't such a big deal. Razer have updated the Lachesis...

High sensitivity 5600 dpi 3.5G laser sensor ; Customisable RGB LED's in scroll wheel and logo ; Nine fully customisable buttons ; 60kb onboard memory for macros, profiles and configurations ; Adjust sensitivity on the fly (with OSD) ; Great...

Color options are very basic - more settings please ; Side buttons can take some getting used to ; Price is competitive but still quite high ; Some colors won't display on logo

In this section I am going to write a brief five point summary on the following categories; Performance, Appearance, Construction, Functionality and Value. These views are my own and help me to give the Lachesis 5600 gaming mouse a rating out of 10, a...

Nice, but returned

This mouse was designed for Ambidextrous users. For some reason, Newegg has it listed for righties which can be a little misleading. If you want to be able to use either hand while gaming, have trouble finding a nice lefty mouse, or frequently swap...

Texture and weight - they really nailed the feel of this mouse. Appears to be a quality made product ; Amazingly smooth response ; Lighting customization. A feature like this is unnecessary, but for some reason a rare commodity ; One of the only mice...

Although they nailed the ambidextrous design perfectly, I don't plan on using my left hand to game ever. Which means that the positioning of the buttons for my pinkie is just too far back/low. I use a claw grip to play with this mouse rather well, but...

good performance when it works!

Got this mouse 3 months ago. Was working good until it would stop tracking properly. Looked at Razor web site for tech problems with this mouse. Razor said to clean lens, if that did not work to use A white sheet of paper as a mouse pad! Well that...

Tech support said they would replace the mouse but sooner or later the same problem would happen again. So I now use a Steele mouse. Works much better and I do not have to use a sheet of white paper for a mouse pad

Best Gaming Mouse.

I have tried nearly every gaming mouse on the market and the Razer Lachesis is the best. If you have any doubts about this mouse forget them, there is none better

Second Review - update

I bought this mouse on sale for $65 dollars free shipping. Had to RMA it and asked for replacement. newegg didnt replace and instead refunded my money. When i went to buy it again, the price went up to $70 + $7 shipping. I lost the $10 i paid to ship...

This will be my second review on this mouse after owning the 5600dpi version for over a month. I owned the 4000dpi version for over a year and my previous review reflects on the experience with that version assuming that this version was just a DPI and...

This mouse for some reason will stop responding whenever it wants to and I have to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in. It happens to me about 2 times a week. It seems to happen mostly when i game although it has happened when i was just browsing...
