Wireless: Inferior to its predecessor (RAT 7)

 

Overall, I do not recommend this mouse at all, due to the fact that it is a wireless mouse. I am more content in using a mouse that will not disconnect during sessions.

Extremely customizable mouse means great comfort ; Pinkie rest attachments for bigger hands ; With 2 battery packs and a charging base/wireless base, you can "hot swap" in between sessions quickly ; Extra slot on base to put my mouse weights(!)

Wireless mouse means that it is more prone to disconnect, and it has happened quite frequently for me ; Battery life, itself, is quite short. It only lasted for about 6-8 hours for me during sessions between gaming and work

Ptetty - but flawed

 

I first off - should have purchased the corded version (batteries suck). Turns out the flexibility is not as important as I figured it would be (personal preference?). For the value received - I should have looked at other (cheaper) mice.

Hardware is as advertised - very flexible ; Buttons are intuitive and easy to program (after a bit of practice)

Mouse triggers page back under Windows 10 (as of build 10074) ; Customer service blows you off ; Drivers & registry entries have permissions that are hard to delete (obvious after a OS install) ; Batteries are unreliable and do not last a long day ;...

Wish I didn't buy it

 

The first one I bought, the batteries wouldn't charge all the way. The one I have now is changing the dpi settings all on its own. For what I paid you'd think quality control would be better.

It look cool and the customization is nice, I love the pinky and thumb rest

8-hour battery life isn't that big of a problem, they give you 2 batteries. Changing them is a pain. The shoe on the bottom doesn't come out far enough, so if you have the palm rest all the way out and you rest on that it will lift the front of the...

Newegg could/should carry the batteries/cells. Then I could toss a few other random things into my order ;)

This has been a fantastic mouse, I've loved the fact that it can quite literally feel any way I want it to given the adjustable everything

The battery life is generally acceptable for the first year or two, but then it starts declining. No big deal, just replace the batteries... Except you can't. Availability on their website is spotty at best and as of yesterday, I couldn't order...

- The battery is NOT hard to get out. I've never had an issue. Try wiping the potato chip grease off your hands first. - I don't see much point to the sniper button. It's awkwardly placed, and I've never needed it before.

Kool, 2 batteries are a great idea

I wanted to answer some of the issues i've seen from readers. The mouse has 6400 dpi capable and is very sensitive. The vibrations from your speakers or even your PC can make the cursor move on the screen. ANY WIRELESS MOUSE WILL DO THAT, but...

Turrible

 

I originally owned a cyborg version of the mouse but had to warranty it due to some small issue, it was replaced with this mad catz version that I find far inferior, the cyborg mouse had none of these problems, what did you do mad catz??

Looks cool, lots of customizations

As others have stated the mouse has a mind of it's own, it jumps around and generally lags. I also have a problem of it getting stuck in one direction (vertical or horizontal.) This mouse has been nothing short of a headache

Excellent Mouse

 

One battery charge usually lasts me 4-5 one hour sessions. It's not such a big deal to swap batteries. To other reviewers claiming "nightmare" scenarios changing batteries.......this is not the case. It takes a few seconds to swap the battery and click...

Excellent tracking, and great button features. I love the customizable ergonomics of this mouse, and being able to add weight makes this the mouse for me. I applaud having the battery charger act as a 'dock' for the spare battery, as well as a receiver...

This is barely a con, just being nit-picky and is something that can use improvement. Mediocre battery life, but it's not a deal breaker
