Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless Mini mouse

In the realm of portable mice, the Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless Mini is a fairly comfortable travel mouse, and it performs well. But with a price of $49.99, it's rather expensive. Unless you're lusting after a laser, save yourself $20 and get...

Laser technology increases sensitivity; flawless performance; RF receiver clips to mouse.

Smaller scrollwheel requires more finger strokes; expensive.

The Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless Mini is comfortable to use--for a portable mouse--and is a good performer, but it's more expensive than comparable mice.

Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless Mini

Not a HTPC Mouse

should have known that it wouldn't live up to the task for only $35.

Size, styling

Did not live up to 30' range as advertised - at all. We have our HTPC above the tv, about 6' high, and when attempting to use the mouse with a perfect line of sight to the USB receiver from ~12' away, mouse was choppy, movements not consistently...

Needs work

I own Logitech products for the most part. LOTS OF THEM! Sometime I go out on a limb and buy an off-brand. I must say I was pretty happy with the product before it stopped working properly. A year for an inexpensive input device is tollerable.

I go through input devices like underwear! I got this mouse as part of a Keyboard Mouse combo. I saw my father eyeballing it one day so I donated it to the family. My Parent's are not heavy computer users, but they do spend a few hours each day...

After more than a year of use, the right mouse button is no longer working properly. Shopping for a new mouse now. Pretty annoyed since now I will have 2 dongles instead of 1 to control Keyboard and Mouse separately. Won't be buying this mouse, since...

NOT impressed

threw away ... literally! did not want to burdon anyone else with this lag monster. bought Logitech V450 - a very good mouse, but still waiting for perfect .. see my review there.

great ergonomics - nice feel in hand. good click feel. good center scroll and middle click feel. nice grippies on side

big lag in hand to screen action. goes into sleep mode too frequently and takes a second to come out of it. NOT a mouse for ANY productivity environment

After a Year ~ still loving it!

I am not fond of laptop finger pads. Therefore, this mouse works great for me. This mouse has a rubber/vinyl grip surface which I also like. After using one, you will dread mice with tails!

I purchased mine a year+ ago. After its first use; I bought my daughter one for Christmas. The features I am very happy with: small but not tiny, works well on my laptop surface, perfect touch and wheel sensitivity, great transport feature, and on-off...

Save your money- buy a logitech!!

it is better for the world to find a use for this junky product if you have already bought it rather than throwing it away ( for Gaia) and spend the same or less for a logitech which costs the same or less!!

this is a good mouse to use at the office (I am in IT) on a work computer but NOT FOR GAMING. good if mouse can "see" the USB receiver.

I had this mouse when I upgraded my gaming pc from a 6600gt agp Asus board and got two 8600gtses in SLI on a A8n32-SLI deluxe board. Getting rid of this mouse was one of the most noticeable performance boosts!!! Terrible considering it cut out all the...

Nice; have come back to buy #2

nice glide, nice size.

When traveling: after inserting the USB remote into the slot on the bottom of the mouse, be sure to bind them together.

Poor performance

Worse performance than early wireless "ball" mice I've had and long ago retired.

None

Barely works. Does not track smoothly. Buttons have to be pressed several times. Makes regular work a chore and gaming impossible. Batteries last less than a month.
