The new Sabre mouse from Corsair is available off the bat with either an optical or laser sensor, which is surprisingly uncommon, and given the otherwise occasionally ridiculous measures manufacturer's turn to, to stand out, it's an impressive option....

Solid mid-range gaming mouse.

Like all other Corsair products, such as their RAM, PSUs, and computer cases, this product is manufactured with their usual excellent manner using strict quality control measures to ensure it lives up to its reliability in order to last for many years...

Tons of programmable buttons to use ; Extremely accurate ; Customizable colors are great ; Well built

Coming from a Logitech G5 (still one of the best mice I have ever owned), I thought that the mouse may be a bit too light. Then again that may just be personal preference

One of the better gaming mice I have owned

 

Lighting effects ; Perfect amount of buttons ; Responsive ; Long cable

Software a bit finicky and clunky ; Works better with with a specific type of mouse pad (hard plastic) ; No adjustable weight ; Could be a bit smaller but just a little

The mouse works exactly as I intended. Great for light gaming and general PC usage. The lights are bright and offer a wide array of color choices, and the amount of adjustments you can make via the Utility Engine is fantastic

I owned the mouse for a little over a week, when the lighting features began to all change to purple hues. I checked on the Utility Engine and it still showed I had my color choices set. The only way to revert the colors was to give the mouse a solid...

Has its ups and downs

 

When the software is fixed up and updated a bit, this really is not a terrible mouse for the price. It won't fit everyone. And the corsair design will turn a lot of people away.

The mouse can be customized to fit you perfectly ; Designed for smaller hands ; The color combos are endless ; The software could be amazing ; The change of sensitivity on the mouse itself is amazing. Good idea

Most of all the software ; You can do almost anything, but it will take you years to figure everything out ; The right click is a little off. I don't mind it, but at times I will mis click

An Underwhelming Experience

 

If you like really light-weight mice and can catch this mouse on sale then this might be the choice for you. I wouldn't get this if you prefer heavy mice.

Follow Up Review

 

My first impressions of this mouse where 100 percent positive, and it is still a very good mouse, but because of this strange jumping of the cursor now, it gets 2 eggs knocked off! If this jumping was a regular thing, I would think it was a matter of...

This is a great mouse as I stated before, and as many have stated in these reviews, however there is a strange glitch developing. Randomly, the mouse behaves strange, out of the blue, the cursor begins to jump around for no reason, then settles back...

Over all I love the mouse I do wish that you could customize the led colors for the dpi selector but maybe that can be added in. It took a little getting used to just like anything new but after using it for a couple of months I would never go back and...

Lots of programmable buttons to take advantage of ; Have larger hands that fit well on the mouse ; customization of colors ; Scroll wheel has a nice amount of friction ; Slides well on all different types of mousepads ; Extra button placement is decent...

Cannot change the color of the selected dpi as far as I know ; Corsair software is not the easiest software in the world to use ; size of the use connection could be an issue for some people
