This jar opener requires a strong grip to get a purchase on the jar lid but the reason for the purchase was because I don't have a strong grip and needed an aid to open jars. It just doesn't do the job.

As I have just written it was useless , couldn't get it to work , husband managed once, both in 70s can't return either as packaged binned when bought!!!
