Samsung Galaxy Ring Review

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is the first smart ring to be unveiled by one of the major tech heavyweights, changing the smart ring playing field.

Excellent sleep tracking accuracy ; Emphasizes practical sleep coaching ; Energy Score is user-friendly and insightful ; Sleek design and very comfortable to wear

Offers fewer features than competitors and the Galaxy Watch ; High price (but no subscription fee) ; Inconsistent heart rate data and unreliable SpO2 readings

For a first effort, the Samsung Galaxy Ring is a strong start with some superb elements, in terms of accuracy and coaching.

Samsung Galaxy Ring review: not the smart ring I was hoping for | Digital Trends

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is one of the most important smart rings ever. But is it one you should buy? I wore it for two weeks to find out.

Incredibly light and comfortable design ; Great sleep tracking ; 4+ days of battery life ; Excellent charging case ; Doesn't have a subscription

Wildly inaccurate SpO2 levels ; Poor workout tracking accuracy ; Doesn't work with the iPhone ; Too expensive, tough competition

“The Samsung Galaxy Ring is an important smart ring with a lot of good ideas. It's just not the first one you should buy.”

Samsung Galaxy Ring Review: One Ring to Rule Them All

Samsung's newest fitness wearable works seamlessly with its Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Watches.

Works seamlessly with the Galaxy Watch. Wonderful case. Lighter than the Oura ring. Full suite of health features, including cycle tracking. Can auto-detect pool swimming.

Exclusivity is its greatest gift and greatest curse. Not worth getting if you don’t have a Samsung phone. AI-enabled suggestions are BS. Doesn’t have a gyroscope or GPS.

Samsung Galaxy Ring review: The top smart ring for Samsung users

The One Ring to rule them all? Quite possibly

Up to 7-day battery life ; Earbuds-style charging case ; No subscription fee

Requires Samsung Health app ; High initial cost

The Samsung Galaxy Ring, is a well-rounded device that integrates wonderfully with the Samsung Health app, using AI and cutting-edge health tools to create a comprehensive “set and forget” wearable experience. Its software doesn’t quite match up to...

Samsung Galaxy Ring review

If you're looking for a budget prepaid Android smartphone, you can do better than Virgin Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Ring. Although the phone's entry-level specs sound fine on paper -- a 4-inch touch screen, dual-core processor, and 5-megapixel camera --...

The Samsung Galaxy Ring has good call quality and a dedicated camera button, and costs an affordable $150 off-contract.

It has poor screen quality, lacks 4G, takes dull photos, and has a very slow processor.

Pass on the slow, disappointing Samsung Galaxy Ring in favor of LG's superior Optimus F3.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Review: Fashionable, Refined, Pricey - SlashGear

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is one of the most expensive smart rings on the market today -- but it might very well also be the best.

Thin, Light Hardware Design ; Long Battery Life ; Stylish Charging Case ; Accurate Biometrics Tracking

Expensive ; Samsung Ecosystem Lock-in

Samsung Galaxy Ring Review: My Favorite Smart Ring, Hands Down

The Galaxy Ring exceeded my expectations with how comfortable it is to wear for 24/7 health tracking and it has the best charging solution of any smart ring, period.

Comfortable design for 24/7 wear ; Energy score is great ; Beautiful charging case with a clever design

Live heart rate tracking limited to a few workouts ; Expensive compared to other smart rings ; Wellness tips not very helpful yet

I tested the Samsung Galaxy Ring and it's smarter than my Apple Watch in one big way

Samsung's smart ring is far exceeding sales expectations, and I found a lot to like about the Galaxy Ring in my real-world tests.
