Provides even bright light. Much better than dull halogen bulbs. Hoping it will last well.

Unlike many low energy bulbs this is genuinely dimmable - no flicker. It looks good and gives a wide ranging light source - from gentle glow to very bright. Highly recommended, if a bit pricey.
