Though it appears to be the solution to your small apartment laundry woes, the Haier HLP140E requires a reality check.
Despite its abysmal performance, it's hard to hate the Haier HLP140E. It's cheap, compact and even kind of gets clothes dry -- which is what you should expect from such a bare-bones unit. It's hamstrung by a low-wattage heating element, but that means...

Bought this in the beginning of December 2012. It only heats up for 80F so it is useless drying cloths. Haier has refused to do any warranty repair. Your better off buying a cloths line and using that since this unit will not dry cloths.

If I don't want any wrinkles I can only dry 5-7 2XL shirts... or 3-4 pairs of pants/jeans, 1 blanket, etc. I can easily double these numbers if I'm not worried about getting wrinkles. The time it takes to dry clothes isn't a problem for me because I...
I bought this in November of 2009 and I use this dryer in my condo as my only dryer. My roommate constantly over loads it but the clothes still get dry. For the size, power (normal power outlet), and price this dryer is awesome. This dryer could also...
It's small, a full load could take 2 hours or so to dry, it is absolutely necessary to clean the lint from the trap after every cycle, and if I'm not careful it would wrinkle everything. This is great for a single person or even roommates that wash...

I bought this dryer about 5 years ago when my husband and I lived in a house with no 220 connection and got tired of either lugging clothes to the laundry mat in the winter or hanging wet clothes around the house. It still works great and has more than...

I have used the dryer for only a few weeks and so far so good. It works as expected. A space saver.

This dryer works better than regular size dryers. You have to dry smaller loads but it makes it all worth it to have this dryer. Best thing I ever bought.

Tired of getting somebody else's gum distributed on my laundry in eternal strands in the complex's laundry room dryers. I have the smaller 1.0 cu. ft. Haier washer, so 2.6 cu. ft. dryer is only between 1/3-1/2 full (3-4 loads/week). Dryer stands on a...

Work well and considering the size, it drys better than I expected it to. Beats going to the Laundromat.

it was certainly easy to install, but as soon as it turned on, a weird chemical type smell emerged. we totally disconnected the exhaust vent to isolate the smell to the new dryer. Online reviews also indicate this has happened to others. to hd's...

as a disabled senior citizen, i am thrilled with this dryer-i no longer have the stamina to carry heavy loads out to a clothesline as i did for many years- it runs quietly, does not take up a lot of space and holds a load big enough for a single person...
