Best investment I ever made

 

In hindsight, I should have bought the model with the flatbed scanner built in. Some things, just don't fit through the feeder.

This scanner is great! I do computer tech support and saw different generations of the same model at hospitals, financial advisors, and other paper-intensive environments where time is more valuable than the equipment. I was hesitant to buy one for my...

Acrobat requires that you register in order to use the software after 30 days which is annoying. It's expensive but I've seen nothing that can compare with it in it's price category so I would definitely buy again. I am hoping that I can get rid of the...

FAST. Especially at 300 DPI GrayScale. Have scanned all my notebooks from college in no time at all. Was using a flatbed to do the same job before and with this I cut days into minutes. Scanning to PDF is easy

The software and usability of the manuals included is ok but nothing superb. It will skew the paper slightly and I have been unable to get the feature that detects and corrects skews to work. It's only 4-5 degrees, and I am only doing this to get rid...

This unit is quick and has jammed only twice in over 50,000 copies. It is easy to use and the software that comes with it is pretty straight forward

Great Scanner

 

Buy it!

250,000 + sheets so far and no problems. I have worked with many different types of scanners and Fujitsu has always been the best, in my opinion

Burns through rollers fairly quick, but thats really an issue with the consumables, not the scanner itself

Great but

 

Figure another four hundred to this price and you're in business. Still a good deal and as always, Newegg has the best price.

Good Price. Small, fast, duplex, color scanner. Easy setup

Bad software. If you use included software, it scans extremely slow. You have to purchase an ISIS software like Quickscan Pro 1 (four hundred +) for it to truely speed

Excellent!

 

If you're going 'paperless' this is the scanner for you. We love it. I have had a couple of other scanners over the years, the 5120 is now our gold standard. I used a plustek for a year or so and had to have it warranty serviced 2 times in that time....

Scan directly to PDF at lightning speed. Simple operation and settings. It was easy to get it up and running. Great overall performance

Price tag. Newegg was kind to me on price due to some circumstances, but it isn't cheap for a small business

I bought this for my medical practice to scan charts and insurance cards. This device has worked very well.
