Fast - Good Quality. OCR is almost error free, even with mathematical symbols and formula.

Major complaint is input document guide width adjustment is sticky and often requires two hands to adjust properly. This is very annoying as I scan odd size documents frequently. Software is less than intuitive. It frequently turns images upside down...

The FI-7160 is small, consuming little desk space, fast and scans a wide variety of documents. The FI-7160 auto-senses and scans text on both sides of a document. This is a huge time saver.

Great Scanner

 

Make sure your computer handles USB 3.0 so that it can transfer the scan documents. Scanner will work with USB 2.0 but you really want USB 3.0. In the past years, I bought Xerox and Fujitsu scanners and both companies produce dependable products

Very good scanner. Scans documents really fast. Its scans ID cards and plastic cards, which was my main concern. Overall, really good scanners.
