wrong so I'm guessing he's seen it before. Drain pipe for water blocked with ice. Suggested turn it off for 48 hours, see if the evaporation tray is filled with thawed ice, if so, problem solved. I did, it was and the 'fridge is now working again....

It is very disappointing as I could have bought a similar fridge at cheaper price, but I was trusting in the Westinghouse brand and my family history with it. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

ng read some other reviews of the fridge it appears this noise problem has effected others so my gut feeling is that the fridge is operating as expected. Really disappointed with this fridge, I would recommend avoiding this one.
