OK Fridge, Dreadful Customer "Service"

 

On June 11th 2005 we purchased a Maytag refrigerator, model #MFD2561HEW, from The Home Depot. The technician incorrectly installed the water dispenser cable resulting in leakage causing mold and water damage to our newly remodeled kitchen. Maytag...

Good when it works

 

Purchased this fridge in September 05, it broke down in May 06. Same problem as previous reviewer - no cool air in the fridge but the freezer was fine. May 30 Maytag Service - "How does June 13th sound?" Managed to have the tech come the next day ...

Keeps food cold when it works.

Don't buy Maytag fridges - French door ones!

 

Bought this fridge at home depot before Christmas 2005, the day before Christmas, it stop working. You ever try to get service for any appliance before a major holiday - many phone calls with long waits & at least 1 & 1/2 days staying home from work ...

Nice interior lay out, Good design

Poor customer service, both on Maytag & Home Depots part.
