avoid this refrigerator at all costs

 

i replaced an 80's model side-by-side subzero with this over-under model and regretted it from day one, for the following reasons: (a) its designers managed to make it at least 25% heavier than the needlessly massive sub-zero it replaced (a feat that ...

well, it hasn't tipped over and crushed me yet.

Looks great, but mechanically it's junk

 

The Monogram ZIC360 is a nice looking model with some nice features, but mechanically it's lemon -- junk compared to the Sub Zero that it replaced. We've had the tech out numerous times and the main problem is that if the freezer drawer is left open ...

Nice looking, well organized food storage areas, friendly service department.

Freezer lacks a self-closing feature. Not appropriate for families with kids.
