Outstanding for movies but average for music
I bought this receiver after using all major brand like Yamaha, Marantz, denon, Pioneer etc. When I auditioned this for the first time at my home I was like "WOW" i haven't heard that much amount of details and clarity in movies. I can tell you no one...
1) extremely neutral and uncolored sound (which many of us may not like) 2) Cleanest sound possible. 3) lots of features. 4) Powerful. 5) Thx certified. 6) lots of inputs and outputs. 7) easy to use.
1) Lacks the punch of marantz and denon. 2) Mid-range/squawker sound is not as fat and heavy as marantz and denon.(which will really annoy music lovers). 3) Sound becomes bright and harsh at loud volume levels.
