A slim, attractive laptop with very good performance and excellent battery life, the CT15T-B1 is just off the mark with the rest of the package.
The ; is an attractive laptop with an excellent display, very good performance for its class, and excellent battery life. It also has 802.11ac Wi-Fi for the best wireless performance and it's a bloatware-free Microsoft Signature computer.
The CT15T-B1 doesn't have an SD card reader or a backlit keyboard. The touchpad's software support is minimal compared with competing models. Frequent travelers might find it too heavy.
The Vizio CT15T-B1 is a thin, nice-looking laptop with plenty of performance and battery life. But for the money, the package should be a little more complete.

Of course, affordable pricing is relative; the CT15T-B1 is $1,360 direct from Vizio . Now, that is a competitive price for what you're getting: a third-gen quad-core Core i7 processor, 8GB of memory, and a 256GB solid-state drive, among other things.

The Vizio 15.6-inch Thin + Light Touch (CT15T-B1) laptop has long battery life, quad-core power, great design, and speedy, spacious SSD storage.
Quad-core processor. Excellent performance on benchmark tests. Large, bright 1080p touch screen. Microsoft Signature prep. Long battery life. Roomy 256GB SSD. 802.11ac.
Slippery, non-backlit keyboard. Pricey. Bulky. Only two USB ports. Bouncy screen.
So there's the rub: There are elements of brilliance (nice screen, quad core power, almost 9 hours of battery life, etc.) in the Vizio 15.6-inch Thin + Light Touch (CT15T-B1). However, these gains are reversed by physical problems like the slippery...

The refreshed Thin + Light notebook delivers good performance, but this machine lacks pizzazz.
Bright, accurate touchscreen ; Good performance ; Attractive industrial design
Too few ports ; Minor design flaws ; Somewhat heavy
We'd like this machine a lot more if Vizio made a few design tweaks and shaved some weight to render this good notebook great.
