I loved this retail notebook's light weight and its pretty peacock-blue lid, but for $1349 I would demand a better keyboard and touchpad.

Difficult-to-use mouse buttons

This notebook has so much going for it--topped off by a good Acrobat manual and the Microsoft Works application bundle--that dismissing it for one poorly implemented feature seems almost unfair, but there you have it

Nice little notebook

 

I likes this laptop. Bought July '05 I think, surprised to see it's still around. Bought at a major retailer for more than a grand (it had just come out that week). Bought it because it's small, and toshiba is a great manufacturer. Sounds crazy, but...

Very small footprint, nice looking screen, doesn't weigh all that much for a laptop in this price range, comes with nice specs. Always owned toshiba laptops, they're a fantastic computer for the money. Battery life on mine is almost 3 hours

Gets super hot! Screen looks great if looking at it directly straight on, off to the side even a few degrees colors start to wash out. Not sure this celeron processor is the greatest processor, seems sort of slow compared to other laptops running XP. I...

is there a insurance for my burnt fingers?

great battery life/ processing speed for laptop ; nice hard drive ; dvd burner ; wide screen

the touchpad is right above the the hard drive in which the hard drive gets up to 140 degress.. i've burnt my middle finger and pointer due to this.. so i have to use a wireless mouse ; small screen but wireless ; lack of input plugs
