Actually a nice laptop if you like el cheapo version of Win 8 ; Would work fine for basic users who don't do much tweaking

These new computers have the Windows product ID hard coded into the bios. There is no getting rid of it. There are no drivers for Win 7 even if you edit to change product ID (Win 7 only) ; I have everything working with Win 7 except ethernet, wireless...

Good feel to keyboard, good display, nice clean lines to case.

That the OS is Windows 8. Slow to start compared to Win 7, even though this is a more powerful computer than my Win 7 computer. I will have to see if any improvement with 8.1.

very fast and responsive, slim and lightweight, has a very useful sticky keys button which is great when i leave the laptop and my cat walks on it :)

not sure if its an anomaly hardware problem but sometimes it doesnt connect to the internet and i have to re start it to get it to work. (not the internet being a problem) and also sometimes has an 'uncaught error' that makes it hard to turn off or re...
