Windows 8 is a nightmare. That has nothing to do with the machine itself. If I HAVE to complain, I type stupid fast and sometimes the keyboard can't keep up (or something) because I'll be proofing a letter and random spaces or letters will be missing....

Great value, but beware of the keyboard!

This laptop delivers a lot of bang for the buck. quad core i7 processor with the capacity for 16GB of memory and a 17" screen for < 1000 dollars is a great deal in my opinion. And it has all the bells and whistles too.... bluetooth, memory card...

Looking good

I have the version of this laptop that has a 1T HDD. (S855-S5381) but otherwise everything is the same.

Quite fast for a laptop. No problems so far. Should play games on low settings. Browses internet lightning fast...as well as my homebuilt desktop that has an i7 920 and GTX 680

A little on the heavy/bulky side but normal for this type of machine
