The Toshiba Qosmio X875-Q7390 features abundant storage capacity, a Blu-ray burner, and a superlative 3D display.

Decent performer. Superlative 3D display. Four USB 3.0 ports. 2TB of storage capacity.

Terrible battery life. Bloatware. Shorter warranty that the competition. Non-playable framerates in higher quality settings.

Solid Platform

 

Once I got all of those issues resolved, and a fresh copy of Windows 7 Professional installed on one of the hard drives, it has been a really good dual-booting linux machine.

Good video. Fast processor. Good amount of storage. Nice screen. Backlit full keyboard. Two 500gb hard drives

Several negatives ; Did a bios update and the either the cpu or gpu cooling fan stopped coming on and caused thermal shutdown. Rolled back to the original bios to fix that ; The two hard drives had different partition tables on them fresh from the box....

Don't buy.

 

Repair services are extremely slow and expensive. They cant even ship to a specified customer name and instead enforce that the credit card name is it. Took me 3 weeks to get a diagnosis saying they can't diagnose it without 800$ to replace the "video...

Does what it says it will do for a month or two

Wireless connection broke entirely in a month ; Poor battery ; Heavy and bulky. The charger itself is a brick ; Extremely cheap casing. Bends to any pressure and hits internal components. Rattles and shifts from day 1 ; Cooling sucks. Burns from...

Worked for a while...

 

I Purchased this laptop in February 2013 and when I first got it I was in awe. It worked like a charm. Window's 8 had taken some practice to get used to but I got over it. Unfortunately I am unable to even play any games on it now as my GPU will over...

GTX 670M GPU ; 2tb of hard drive/hybrid space ; i7 cpu

GPU runs way too hot, even while on top of a cooling pad in a air conditioned room

I am not a fan of Windows 8 but I found an app that lets you run it like Windows 7 or XP, whichever you choose. Love the start up time, like less than 10 seconds. And it is fast. Faster than my 6 core 16GB desktop. I'm too busy with school right now to...

Boots very fast

Windows 8 - your XP office and many other apps won't work (or work properly) any more, and you'll have to deal with an OS Start page that makes no sense on a laptop or desktop. You will see the OS crash or lock up many times, like in the bad old days...

Excellant Laptop

 

The labtop is very fast when it comes to transferring files to and from. Easy to use even with Window 8. Color of screen is terrific as well as the sound. Good value for the money; would recommend buying. Connects easily to WiFi in the area.

I have never had Toshiba but thought the price drop on this one brought it into my price range for what I wanted. I bought to travel and game with and it works great, mostly. I have had my games lock up, freeze or simply shut down; WoW, GW2, and AC3 so...
