Great build quality

 

I upgraded the memory to 2gb and had an SSD sitting around. Installed Win 7 Pro x86, latest drivers from Sony's site and the Flash 10.1 beta and this thing works like a champ. Netbooks are for Cloud apps, not for running Photoshop, if that fits your...

Gorgeous screen, nice construction, feels "solid" in your hands. Not a lot of body flex like some netbooks

A bit of a pain to get at the RAM slot, check Youtube for a decent video. Windows 7 Starter is a limitation but I'm not sure it's fair to call it a con when you know it going in

Vaio Netbook

 

Upgraded to 2 GB RAM and 7200 rpm HD for better performance. Runs Ubuntu 10.04 flawlessly w/ better performance than Windows 7. Dual boot install using Wubi. Cannot run earlier Ubuntu releases due to GMA 3150 video flicker.

1. Best screen on any netbook (1366x768). Absolutely gorgeous ; 2. Great keyboard and touchpad ; 3. Good battery life ; 4. Atom N450 CPU runs cool w/ good performance

Big Surprise In A Little Package

 

Overall this product has impressed me; I paid $1,100 for my wife's M*cBo*k and this does the same for almost $600 less.

Although I didn't buy this here I paid the same price ; couldn't wait for shipping ; For starters the size is just right, I can comfortably fit this in my book-bag and it's perfect for traveling ; The battery life is AMAZING ; 9-10 hours playing songs...

Well, I didn't mark it down for this but the price. But you get what you pay for ; The battery pack is bulky ; isn't flush with the bottom of the unit. It's a trade-off for battery life though ; As with most PC's it's loaded with a ton of bloatware
