I like the comfort of the Sony name and quality. I also like the sleek look of this laptop

Sony does cost more than other similar spec laptops Windows 8 takes some getting used to and is not compatible with alot of my software

Bought for my daughter's Xmas and she tells me it works well and she loves the colour and design. Windows 8 is great too !

It's a pretty fast laptop. It has good boot up times, it starts up fast and shuts down fast as well. It also wakes back up from sleep rapidly, it takes 3-5 seconds :). The screen is very nice, it has really good colour's, hd video looks really nice on...

no backlit keyboard :( and the hard drive makes a random clicking noise every now and then. I googled it and it seems like it's a common thing with the sony vaio's, but it's not that bad. Battery life is not the greatest, you will get 3-4 hours of just...
