Sony VAIO E review: Sony VAIO E

 

The 11-inch Sony Vaio E has a sharp design at a budget price, plus decent graphics and good battery life.

This 11-inch laptop is thicker and heavier than many 13-inch models. The slow CPU isn't for everyone.

With only a handful of 11-inch laptops still available, serious travelers are flocking to ultrathin 13-inch models instead. But the low price and good battery life of the Sony Vaio E keep it from being counted out.

"Wish I bought another Mac."

 

Worst laptop ever. I went ahead and went with this over mac because I could everything I need for $1000 less. Wish I had sprung for the Mac. Locks up constantly, screen freezes, and is very slow even though it has the latest processor and 16Gb of ram....

Not much. Touch screen is a nice novelty but wears off quickly when compared to a tablet.

Speed is very bogged down, freezes constantly and requires restart multiple times a day. Sometimes monitor never turns on and needs restart. For the fastest processor available adn 16 Gb ram, it is slower than most of my older computers.

Small and portable, 500GB HD although slow, decent processor.

Poor battery life if you are using wi-fi or watching videos. Slow Hard Drive 5400 rpm. Not enough memory.

This laptop is amazing. Comes with free headphones and because this is priced 899,99, for a limited time, you can get a free PS3 or a PSVita with it. Only con is that sometimes the mouse gets weird and changes the screen size but it is easily fixable....

Nothing to Complain About

 

There were comments that the fan was noisy but even at it's loudest it isn't bothersome. Not worth worrying about. Overall everything is as you'd expect. It's a beautiful laptop with powerful features.

The color design looks great in person. Keyboard is a perfect size. Keys feel nice. Keypad works like a charm

The screen does not have many great viewing angles but that should be expected
