Good graphics performance; slim design.

Weak battery life; low-voltage Core i3 processor is slower than other Core i3 laptops; too much keyboard flex.

The thin design and Nvidia Optimus automatic graphics switching on the Asus UL80J-BBK5 are appealing, but the underperforming CPU and battery life on this compact 14-incher are disappointments.

I would have taken it to back to best buy but I was tired of returning defective laptops. First a Compaq, then Asus....here's a hint...never buy taped boxes, especially from Best Buy

the Con far outweighs any pro

This unit seems to have been manufactured with incompatible components. Internet video stream results in freeze and blue screen. After three attempts by Asus to fix it, i gave up and bought something else that works...Never purchase Asus..what a joke

Attractive Design

poor wireless connection

 

would like to return for money back, but the warranty wont allow it. I'm trying for a replacement now and hope ASUS will do it.

wifi hint

 

I have never needed to restart my laptop to solve the wifi problem. simply hit the wifi switch on and off (with the fn keys or the laptop switch) and when it comes back up on your screen click it on with your mouse. annoying, but a quick fix.
