HP's latest 2-in-1 Windows laptop is one of the best I've ever tested.
Outstanding performance. Best battery life in an Intel Core Ultra system I’ve seen to date. Very quiet. Includes an active stylus (if you buy direct from HP).
The touchpad can be finicky. Slightly heavier than competing systems. Light on expansion ports.

The latest iteration of HP's 14-inch, OLED-screened Spectre x360 holds onto its reign as a top-tier laptop/tablet hybrid, especially for frequent video callers.

I'd buy it myself if it wasn't so expensive
Sleek design ; Beautiful OLED display ; Bouncy keyboard ; Bumpin’ speakers ; Excellent performance ; Great battery life ; 4K webcam
Short on ports ; Display benchmarks could be better
The HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is a perfect storm of performance and components. With impressive battery life and a gorgeous OLED display, you’ll forget about its minor flaws real quick.

With a next-gen Intel Core Ultra CPU and strong build quality, HP's premium two-in-one is pricey but primed for a long and useful life -- and its 9-megapixel webcam is awesome.
CPU delivers good performance and future-proofing ; Intel Arc GPU offers performance bump ; Beautiful, all-metal chassis ; Strong AV output with OLED display, quad speakers ; Super-sharp 9-megapixel webcam
Always-on LED on power button gets annoying ; GPU upgrades not offered ; Limited port selection

HP's updated Spectre x360 14 is so good, I struggled to find legitimate complaints.
Comfortable design with great build quality ; Intel Core Ultra and Intel Arc provides awesome performance on and off the charger ; Dynamic OLED display is gorgeous and smooth ; Comfortable keyboard and haptic touchpad are among the best I've used
2-in-1 form factor feels a little like an afterthought ; Limited on ports, with the odd dropjaw Type-A port making a return ; Not the excellent value past Spectre x360s were
HP's Spectre x360 14 isn't the most exciting premium Windows laptop on the market, but the latest version is powerful, quiet, easily lasts a full day of work, and is supremely comfortable to use. It's a near-perfect laptop for anyone who wants a...

HP's new Spectre x360 2-in-1 boasts an incredibly thin and light design (1.3kg) that won't weigh you down, alongside a stunning OLED display delivering vibrant colours and deep blacks.

HP's elite convertible, the Spectre x360 14 is beautifully designed and covers nearly every base, though be prepared to spend a lot for it.
Beautiful OLED screen ; Excellent webcam ; Attractive metal design ; Comfortable keyboard and touchpad ; Good speakers ; Includes pen
Expensive ; Limited ports
Although HP’s Spectre x360 14 traded the previous model’s 3:2 screen for a more traditional 16:10, it delivers an outstanding user experience and is every bit the premium product it promises to be.

The new HP Spectre x360 14-inch is a 2-in-1 with Intel Core Ultra power to make quick work of AI tasks, and it packs a whopping 9MP camera along with an OLED display and Poly Studio audio.
The only things that give me pause right now are the relatively short rated battery life and the brightness of the display, but we'll see how it fares once we get it into the lab.
