Great Performance, but it didn't last

 

Really disappointed. Now I have to RMA the unit and I use it for work. I'm not sure what I'm going to do in the interim. Its upsetting when you spend $1500+ on a laptop and the screen only holds up for less than four months.

Excellent Speed. Amazing Size. Screen produced brilliant color... while it lasted. Backlight Keyboard was bright.

Keyboard was a touch weak Screen on the laptop only lasted 3 and a half months

Best laptop i bought so far.

 

For the price and compact-ability its a beast of a deal! Recommend to any gamer/programmer.

1) Blazing fast on Samsung NVMe SSD. Considering upgrading for bigger one later, but this one is good for now. 2) Blazing Fast Crucial DDR4 Ram 15ms. (Consider upgrading to 16 Gb right away if you want to play GTA) 3) Skylake CPU that runs only at 45%...

Had to unplg the battery power cable to insert additional RAM... Its on the way of it unfortunately, but that's what you get with suck a slim and tight design. Works good if you unplug it first. No actual dock for HDD/SSD. It has something made out of...

Great Alternative to other High End Powerhouse laptops

 

I would definitely recommend this product to people wanting to get away from the regular big brand companies and would like to tailor a laptop specifically to themselves. If you value having extended warranty options, a machine with a luxurious design...

- Comes with the latest 6th Gen CPU + high end graphics chip - Warranty allows end user to swap out RAM, HDDs, WiFi Adapter. The Battery and the Power adapter both have 1 Year Warranty. - Beautiful FHD screen - Nice and light. Great construction IMHO -...

- CPU and GPU gets really hot when gaming. Depending on the game you play, if you max out the graphics expect both CPU and GPU to reach 90+ celcius. This isn't optimal if this is to be used as a gaming machine but since I'm mostly using it to run VMs...

P34Wv5-SL2 1920x1080 - Solid Build, Cheap Panel

 

I spent a lot of time going back and forth between the MSI GS60 Ghost, the Asus GL552VW and the P34Wv5/P35Xv5. If it wasn't for the cheap panel I would've been very happy with the P34Wv5. The viewing angles on the 1920x1080 version of the P34Wv5 are...

- P34 body is more solid than the P35 - Separate left/right click button from the rest of the track pad is actually quite nice - Slim form factor - Didn't have the spacebar issue

- TN panel on the 1920x1080 is subpar - Backlight is practically non-existent even when plugged in - Keyboard rises slightly in the middle - Newegg's restocking fee is outrageous
