Very good laptop

 

I have the 6860 FX version of this. They come with a 2nd open hard drive bay and you can upgrade the processor later on down the line, thus extending its life.

Very nice bright screen. Very little bloatware to remove. So far pretty powerful and fast

The power cord doesn't really have a solid connection to the side of the computer and keeps unplugging, just a minor annoyance

Superb laptop

 

The notebookreview review of this laptop made up my mind to buy it and I haven't been disappointed. The power of these specs is everything I expected - it runs fast, smooth and surprisingly cool. I can't speak highly enough of this laptop which is up...

Elegant build (these pictures don't do justice to it)

Bloatware - but a comparatively small amount that took less than 15mins to uninstall

Very good notebook

 

I really like this and so does my daughter. Good price although 2 weeks after I bought it, Newegg had it on sale for $100 less than what I paid. The excellent features of this computer make me forget that this laptop is heavier than most.

Fast. HD has enough space for my daughter. Good graphics. My daughter likes the look -- just as important to her as what is inside the laptop is to me. She uses the webcam, which is the standard 1.3 MP. Vista is 64-bit so it sees all 4 Gig of RAM. WAN...

Heavier than most laptops (yes I did NOT read the weight before I bought it -- my fault) but not prohibitive

Great notebook!

 

This is my second Gateway notebook and I'd have to say I would buy another.

Nice looking machine, functions very well. Very little bloatware to remove

The screen doesn't tilt back very far, so if you have it in your lap you have to kind of prop it up a little at the front to get the optimum vertical viewing angle. A minor issue, but worth mentioning

VERY SLEEK!

 

KEYS ARE A LITTLE BIGGER THAN THE USUAL BUT ITS JUST SOMETHING TO GET USED TO. NOT A PRO OR A CON JUST WORTH A MENTION.

VERY NICE LOOKING MACHINE! PLAYS HIGH CAPACITY FLASH CARDS WHICH IS NICE AND SHOULD BE STANDARD IN ALL MACHINES, BUT ITS NOT....GOOD TO HAVE A DEDICATED GFX CARD ALSO TO TAKE THE STRAIN OF OTHER COMPONENTS

NONE, YET.... JUST HOPE ITS NOT ONE THAT DIES SOONER RATHER THAN LATER
