EI Systems 1212 T1400 1GB

Well the Good points in EI system 1212 .. is the keyboard and also monitor size .. it's useful and helpful ..perfect for kids and the people who use the laptops all the time ..

Bad points : 1 - battery life .( 1 - 1.30 h ) 2 - weight . 3 - memory ( but can be upgrade to 2g ) .

Easy to set up and use with all the features i needed.

I feel the battery life could be better it seems i have to constantly charge the laptop.

I bought this for my mother aged 72yrs, its easy to use has an excellent screen quality and does just wahat she needs, also comes with Office package trial version.

this is a basic practical & functional machine which will allow you to work & play with the minimal of fuss: good screen size & res (altho' mine had a pixel damage); 4 USB ports; wireless enabled; dvd/cd player: will do what it says

battery life is poor, 1-2 hrs (- altho' i hear you can get a larger battery) so be prepared to carry the charger with you, but this will add to the weight; at 2.32 kg you'll need a wheelie bag for long trips if you want to avoid backache; small...

Not much battery life. Doesn't come with operating system disks or recovery disks. Option for downgrade to XP would have been nice.

It's the perfect shape and size, got good battery life and is pretty quick.

You need to buy more memory for it!

bought this for my mother, as she is not a heavy computer user. Ver cheap, and good value for money. This is a good cheap laptop of you just need to do basic computer tasks. Was pleasently suprised to find that it came with MS office!

Battery life is rubbish, about 20min or so. Technical and user documentation is virtully non-existant, so if you need a "how to" guide, you wont find it in the box! Not good for heavy computer users
