Upgraded from an older laptop that wasn't able to record 1920x1080 resolution gameplay from elgato or HDPVR2. Now I'm able to record higher resolution gameplay.

Combo audio I/O jack does not recognize or pick up on audio from external mic when plugged in. When plugged in, it only recognizes it as an audio out device. Older slower laptop had a dedicated mic in jack that worked just fine for the past 3 years...
