Poor benchmark results ; Keyboard could be better

If it wasn't for the slightly limiting keyboard the Advent is an extremely capable laptop with some great features

build quality, performance and specification compared with competitors.

RAm at 1Gb is a little low but given the price of the laptop can be increased cheaply if requiired.

Nice laptop - already had one (bought for my son) so was happy to recommend this (bought on behalf of my father). Looks good and works well, and great value - have no complaints whatsoever with it being reconditioned.

Struggling with sleep function (can't reawaken it easily), and battery life's not fantastic, but to be honest I've never found one that holds charge for more than an hour!

Good additional ports with HMDI and eSATA, in conjuction with the Web Cam make the lap top better equiped than my Dell Inspiron allthough the Dell does have a bigger processor and more RAM

None as yet, this will depend on if I get accepted for the windows 7 upgrade which should be available to all new VISTA laptops purchased between the end of June and December 09.
