Acer Aspire AS5749

Don't be worried about the brand name "Acer" as this is truly a great laptop. The screen is HD and really can be used for watching movies. Hook it up to your tv via the hdmi port with ease.

runs great. screen HD is awesome, hooked it up to my flatscreen and HDMI is good. i don't know why everyone complains about the keyboard layout, i love it. the keys pop out and are easy to clean and use. love it love it love it.

No complaints, this computer is very fast, easy to set up and use, has great screen resolution. The small left shift key as mentioned by other reviewers does not cause me any trouble. It does come with a lot of junk software I will never purchase....

Got this laptop when it was on sale to replace my wife's 5 year old laptop. Playing HD video is very smooth. My kids enjoy 3D games with it. Bright and sharp screen (feels better than my work laptop even it has higher resolution). Battery life is good.

I totally agree with the previous review. This is truly a great laptop and my second Acer Aspire (other is a mega powerful 13" Corei5 with everything). Performance wise these are great laptops, very powerful, quiet, great display, amazing battery life,...

Overall this laptop performs exactly as it should. Runs quite and loads fast. The price is okay. I would have kept this laptop had it not been for the extremely ridiculous layout of the keyboard. The left hand shift key is a small as any numeric key....
