LOL - Vista is still in its infancy, 512 isn't nearly enough for it, XP and Fedora or Ubuntu work much better

Nice little laptop for the money ; One good thing is Acer dosen't load it up with a bunch of junk software that you'll never use. It's really very clean so you don't have to uninstall the useless software that alot of other brand laptops would force on...

Vista is a memory hogg, so it runs a bit slow because of the lack of memory, it comes with only 512Mb

Beware you are only buying an acer for the computer and not for the Customer support - or lack of. Do not expect them to do what they say or even fix your computer

Vista lags a bit with 512 mb of ram so I will dish money out for an upgrade. Battery life isn't great either.I also delike how vista rates your system, because the rating it gives my notebook makes me want to cry

none that i can think of,bit scared of the fact i purchased open box special,but only miss one item which i really don't need (phone cord)for the price it can't be beat.

Better than expected build quality.
