NORCO DS-500e 5 Bay eSATA RAID Hard Drive Storage Array - Retail

Would not build RAID 5 reliably, and disk trays did not fit into cabinet very well making insertion and removal diffcult.

I was attracted to the DS-500 box because of an excellent review on AMUG(see Google).

Remember it's really not designed to compete performance-wise with higher-end $3000-$7000 hardware RAID boxes you see in the back of PC World.

Unit is Loud Power Button gets stuck Drives trays don't popout or slide out easy.
