PC arrived with a dead optical drive

 

I am very skeptical about the quality of the unit since the optical drive was not found to be bad before shipping.

PC was clean In good working order (mostly)

Optical drive arrived dead and I see no way to have it replaced by Newegg. All I see is an option for full replacement, which is overkill.

Would not purchase refurbished again for business

 

Since I purchased this computer for business use and rely heavily on dependability, I will be cautious about purchasing refurbished in the future.

Computer boots quickly. Priced very competitively.

The computer does not run quietly as my old Dell Optiplex (5 years old). This hard drive makes groaning sounds as it accesses the drive and reminds me of old technology even though it is new. Not sure this is a performance problem or just an annoyance....

This Dell is faster than my other Dell desktops, so I'm hoping it proves to be just as reliable. I was fortunate to buy this one for a very good price before they sold out.

It arrived with the advertised hardware. The interior was very clean and the exterior had no dents or noticeable scratches. The setup and activation process went without a hitch.

When the box arrived, I could feel its contents flopping around inside. Fortunately, there was no damage. Extra foam padding could've prevented this. The mouse was very cheap looking and went straight into the trash. The keyboard was better quality and...

Fast Computer, Great price.

 

I believe that re-furbished computers have been looked at, inspected, fixed if necessary, by a human contrary to one built by a machine.

Compared to the retail price in big box stores, this refurbished computer is extremely fast, pre-loaded with software, and is a fraction of the cost.

There isn't one thing I could say bad about my purchase.

Better than I expected

 

Unit was very clean inside, came with two DVD drives one rom the other was RW.

Unit came with a one year warranty, not the 90 day as stated on the website. It also came with an aftermarket mouse and keyboard. Expect the unit to require many updates to bring win 7 up to date.

None really, case had a couple scratches on it as was expected.
