Sigma APO 150-500mm f5-6.3 DG OS HSM Lens (Canon Mount)

The optics on this lens are superb, right accross it's range, the build quality is excelent, it is mainly plastic, but has a real feel of quality, this is a great lens for wildlife photography. The performance is good right to full apperture.

The lens is heavier than I expected, but does come with it's own tripod mount. There really is nothing bad to say about it.

Lens was in pristine condition at a third of the price of a new one. Delivery was prompt and packing superb.

It's huge. The picture doesn't give the right impression. That lense alone is about the weight and bulk of the camera body and two lenses we already have. Subsequently, you cannot just pop it in the bag when you go out. Taking it is a very conscious...

Impressive looking piece of equipment. Make sure you read the instructions. Turn off stabiliser before you turn off camera and before removal of lens

Very heavy for everyday use. Best used with specific projects in mind like bird watching

Haven't used it much yet, but very pleased with build quality and image sharpness. Grabbed some shots of the almost full moon and was really impressed. So much better than my cropped 70x300 Sigma images! Seems to autofocus faster on action shots....

Quite heavy but not unexpected due to the quality build, and probably advise a tripod as you would expect. Having said that good handheld shots can be had at higher shutter speeds.
