Very bright aperture. Edge-to-edge clarity. Minimal distortion. Dust and splash protection. Fluorine lens coat.

No optical image stabilization. Shows heavy vignette. Clicking control ring not ideal for video.

Vi hade inte tagit många bilder med Canons nya, extremt ljusstarka 50 mm-objektiv till EOS R-serien innan det stod klart för oss att detta är något utöver det vanliga.

Epitetet ”guldklimp” är passande, för objektivet väger nästan ett kilo, och det är rakt igenom ett skarpt och läckert objektiv med ett mycket högt bruksvärde.
