Lots of reach, low weight, lovely looking images.

Comparatively light ; Affordable ; Decent image quality

Tight apertures ; No weather sealing

A very impressive, full-frame lens for the cash. The zoom ratio makes this a great, easy-to-learn choice for those starting out in sports or wildlife photography, while the small size and low weight make it easy to carry about.
