Westinghouse L2610NW

The Westinghouse L2610NW is not the most entertainment-friendly monitor around, but it gives you plenty of screen real estate at a reasonable price.

Reasonable price. Good color representation. Good motion performance.

Weak light and dark grayscale performance. Tilt-only stand. Limited port selection.

Westinghouse L2610NW Mid-Size Monitor

Here's a surprise-a reasonably-priced mid-size monitor that actually outperforms the top brands' offerings in terms of critical video quality. The Westinghouse L2610NW isn't a full-featured set, offering only VGA and HDMI inputs and no other niceties...

From a video quality standpoint (subjectively and objectively), the Westinghouse L2610NW is a top performer, with gray scale and colorimetry measurements that put it in best-of-class status. From a user standpoint, the tightly clustered and barely...

DVI/HDMI fix - To do this download and install moninfo (google it) once installed start the software and select file from menu and creat INF. Save the inf file you created and go to device manager and updater driver using the manual "Have Disk"...

Cheap, large display

Had to jump through hoops to get 1900x1200 via dvi to HDMI. To do this download and install moninfo (google it) once installed start the software and select file from menu and creat INF. Save the inf file you created and go to device manager and...

Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" 2ms(GtoG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers

I picked this monitor up for $320 after tax when it retailed for $499.99 over a dispute with my experience at Best Buy. I wouldn't pay over $400 for this particular screen, but anything less than that I'd consider to be a good deal.

Despite being a TN panel, this screen is very clear, with bright colors and good contrast. There's no light bleeding around the outside edges at all. I use this for both my Xbox 360 and my PC, with the PC hooked up to the VGA input and the Xbox hooked...

The buttons on the side are terribly placed. I found that half the time I tried to switch inputs to play my Xbox that I would hit the power button instead. I got used to where they were after a while but I'm still aggravated by it ; The built-in...

DOA

Very poor is not low enough. There should be a DOA or non-functional rating too. Very poor implys it works a little, just very shoddy. This didn't work at all. The only bright spot appears to be I can get another one, lets hope that isn't messed up...

It looks pretty when its off. Good thing New Egg lets you return this for a replacement

The Unit arrived in a non-functional state. It appeared to have been returned once. The serial number was 524DB74500508. Using a Mac Powerbook 1.25Ghz, and the DVI to HDMI connector there was no signal. With the VGA cable, it would briefly flash on...

Nice picture, not easy to set up

How to configure for HDMI input: Plug in HDMI - DVI cable on both ends. Boot up computer, set it for 1900x1200, go to monitor tab & make sure you are set for 60hz refresh rate. (Having a VNC connection or some other remote desktop is very helpful for...

Amazing huge screen, vibrant color, attractive unit. I am successfully running 1900x1200 with the provided DVI - HDMI cable.

Not easy to set up. I *thought* the HDMI input wasn't working, but its actually just really hard to get it set for digital input -- there is no auto-sensing of input. Reduced brightness does cause noise to come out of the integrated speakers. Muting...

Great Monitor

HDMI works like it should. It's 1920 x 1080, not 1920 x 1200 (or whatever the horizontal rez should be for the 1200 vertical). Saw some people complaining about the former resolution, it's HDMI. Dsub works fine at that resolution but HDMI is a totally...

Great contrast and color. Comes with cables for both inputs. I've owned a Westinghouse 17" monitor a few years back and it worked great so I am familiar with the brand. It doesn't weigh a ton, very light monitor for LAN'ing. Size impresses my friends.

Switching from HDMI to Dsub is a pain, have to use menu. There might be a shortcut but I haven't bothered to find it, used to using the buttons on the right side of the monitor. Wish the stand enabled for height adjustment, I like to look straight and...
