Reasonably priced, the VG700 displays great images but offers few extras.

LCD's don't suffer from the same parameters that can cause that kind of eyestrain, they draw a substantially lower amount of power, and they take up just a few inches of desk space.

You will enjoy the bright colors and clear picture from this monitor. However, it has a rather large bezel, and the speakers aren't very good. If you plan on playing music, don't use the built in speakers as your primary sound equipment!

Yeah the speakers are okay since i don't have any nice surrounds.. i'm still not sure if it is 16ms or 35ms.. i see 35ms all over other sites.. but newegg and viewsonic says its 16ms.. and i don't know if i got the 35ms.. it's a nice monitor over all...

This monitor is VERY nice! It does have a bit ghosting but it is not noticable in ANY first person shotters. The only place i can notice it is when i scroll really fast on a web page. It is one of the best monitors for the price!
