Acquired a shadowy blotch in the corner

 

May as well spend the $20-30 for something nicer.

It was cheap and generally performs it's intended function

About 7-9 months in, it started a shadow-like blotch from the one corner. It spread up to the top covering a fair portion of the screen. That part of the monitor is still usable, but it looks stained/darker

Nice monitor, VGA only

 

Good for the price, but I wouldn't buy again if it weren't discounted. If you're looking for cheap-but-works, definitely go for it; if you have some extra money buy a little nicer 1080p or something with DVI/HDMI input

Decent picture, nice price, pretty good size

Great monitor, VGA only though

 

Be sure to check the specs tab before purchasing. I didn't verify DVI capability, so I can't knock off an egg for that. Very glad Newegg has a great RMA system to simplify returns. Thank you Newegg!

Looks great for a VGA-only display. For those of you who are used to digital displays (like DVI), you will probably be disappointed

Right for the price

 

All in all, I like the monitor. It's a good buy for a business that doesn't demand massive screens or resolutions that are looking for a solid upgrade.

I got several of these for $99 and was very pleased with the product. They are light, slightly adjustable, have great clarity and are nice and bright ; They have a low profile so they won't take up a ton of desk space. The resolution it supports is...

Just What I Needed

 

Got this to mount on the wall for my work bench area. Didn't need anything too big or fancy. No problems so far.

No dead pixels, nice black bezel, wall mountable, good picture and colors, has speakers

Keeps going out

 

The monitor keeps going out. I get these messages about it suddenly quitting working so I'm replacing it, with another brand. It did work OK for a couple months and has been downhill ever since, now to the point I feel I have to replace it. Going to go...

Put down $50,00 more dollars and get a better monitor. With better viewing area. It is not 20'' viewable area

CALL TECH SUPPORT BEFORE PURCHASING!

 

Too bad its description doesn't include a red flag warning that this monitor is NOT compatible with Windows 8.1. Sure would have saved me 2 hours of headache working between ViewSonic/HP tech support!
